| Milner Pilates
Pilates is a precise exercise
system developed over 80 years ago by Joseph Pilates. The essence
of Pilates is to strengthen the core, lengthen muscles and find
and maintain correct body alignment. Milner Pilates engages both
the mind and body in a series of controlled movements
concentrating on strength, flexibility and muscular balance.

With
a Masters degree in Interdisciplinary Studies -Dance, drama and
music, Brenda Milner Cornelius has more than 20 years of
movement and teaching experience. Wanting to enrich her vocabulary
for movement Brenda discovered Pilates and underwent an extensive
2 year, 600 hr. certification program studying the nationally
renowned Pilatesystem® under Colleen Glenn, (Peak Pilates) and
Karen Sanzo PT (Pilates Unlimited). Having taught at Goodbodys in
Dallas for a year Brenda was persuaded to bring Pilates to
Rockwall, close to home. She has helped in the training of
Pilates teachers and has been teaching Pilates on both mat and
equipment for 10 years in the Dallas, Rockwall and Rowlett metroplex. Since, she has developed Milner Pilates® at Ridge
Pointe Athletic club and has established the only semi - equipped*
Pilates program in the area. Brenda is a member of the PMA.

• $75 a month 2/weekly
• $40 a month 1/weekly

Equipment Work
Personal training on Pilates
equipment available by appointment for all levels and adult
ages.
• $73 for non members for 1 hr.
• $65 for members for 1 hr.
• $45 each for semi private
